MMS Concert Preview - Belle Game at 9:30 Club

No, I'm not talking about Broken Social Scene, but Belle Game—the opener for their two-night set at the 9:30 Club next week. The first night is sold out, but tickets are still available for Wednesday's show.

This stunning song is paired with an equally stirring video, a fictionalized tale of a very real woman who claims to be the last woman riding the "Wall of Death" in Northern India. Although the track features guest vocals and creative inspiration from BSS' Kevin Drew, this composition stands on its own thanks to Belle Game's measured yet improvisational style. "Spirit" is from Belle Game's sophomore full length Fear/Nothing, which came out Friday on Arts & Crafts.
