Wednesday Is for New Orleans Lovers - Dirty Bourbon River Show

New Orleans' prolific weird-brass collective Dirty Bourbon River Show brings their musical big tent to The Hamilton next Thursday in support of The Flying Musical Circus, their unbelievable tenth album since 2010. An amalgam of Crescent City swamp brass and blue-eyed funk, the band veers into the territory of gypsy jazz and Eastern European folk in their sideshow musical explorations. Fans of DC's own Black Masala and Elephant 6 offshoots like A Hawk and a Hacksaw and Beirut would enjoy their densely layered toe-tapping vibes.

For now, enjoy a live performance of their new single "All My Friends Are Dead", as well as "Straight to Hell", their submission to last year's Tiny Desk Contest.
