MMS Concert Preview - Crystal Fighters at The Black Cat 4/7

London-based band Crystal Fighters overlay the feel-good psych folk of GIVERS and uptempo electro-pop of Yeasayer with traditional Basque sounds, infusing their electronica with a visceral impact. Their name, and the inspiration behind their sound, come from an unpublished play by a former band member's grandfather who lived in the Basque countryside. Despite an oft-changing lineup and the death of their drummer, the band continues to churn out albums, videos, remixes and mixtapes.
