For #TBTV we have a pair of videos that premiered this week in March 2002. First, we have New Order's "Here to Stay", from the soundtrack of the movie 24 Hour Party People. In the video, actors John Simm and Steve Coogan reprise their film roles at New Order frontman Bernard Sumner and Factory Records head Tony Wilson, respectively.
Next up we have The Strokes' "The Modern Age", which was the title track of their 2001 debut EP and was re-recorded for their debut album later that year. The strength of that EP led to a protracted bidding war and to the band signing with RCA. Is This It was released on the label on July 30, 2002. All four videos from the album were directed by Roman Coppola.
