We have a pair of videos for today's #TBTV. The first is Lissie covering Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way". Her take on the classic is haunting and plaintive, conveying a palpable sense of loss. She's touring in support of her new album, My Wild West, and makes a stop at the 9:30 Club next Thursday.
Next up is the bonkers video "Amanaemonesia" from Chairlift, the self-described "Noh Wave" surrealist Brooklyn synth-pop duo. It's a retro-futuristic Ambien-fueled fever dream, drawing inspiration from A-Ha, Kate Bush, and Peter Gabriel in equal measures. They'll be playing a pair of shows in the area next week, Wednesday at Baltimore's Ottobar and Friday at the Black Cat, in support of their new album Moth.
