New Music Monday - 'Said & Done' by Twinsmith

Omaha power popsters Twinsmith released a strange and sun-kissed video today for 'Said and Done', the new single from their sophomore effort Alligator Years. The album, released on hometown label Saddle Creek in May, builds upon the idiosyncratically gauzy surf-pop of their eponymous debut. Their sound is part-Strokes retro post-rock crossed with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's exuberantly instrumented art-pop.  The video is a horror-inspired head trip in just a little over four and a quarter minutes.

The quartet last played DC in March, and aren't currently scheduled for another show in the area. You'll be the first to know as soon as that changes.
