It has been a while since we plumbed the stacks of music hosted by our friends at the Free Music Archive. June has arrived, and Americans of all stripes are thinking one thing - it's time for the beach!

Before they were melting America's faces with a Letterman performance Consequence of Sound rightly described as epic, Future Islands were a hard-working indie band formed by college friends in North Carolina and based in Baltimore.
