Celebrate cultural traditions around the world at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival on the National Mall in Washington, DC June 23-27 and June 30-July 4, 2005 from 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
This year's Folklife Festival features musicians, dancers, craftspeople and chefs from the Oman region of the Middle East. The event will also showcase the USDA Forest Service with educational activities, crafts, demonstrations, woodcarvers and basket makers, musicians and poets. Nuestra Música will highlight the music of the Latino culture.
This event is free and can be accessed via the Smithsonian Metro stop (Mall exit) on the orange and blue lines.
