On Saturday, November 13, the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) is holding Music Business: 101, a day-long seminar on the legal and business basics of the music industry. Panelists will include Jay Rosenthal, Esq; Kenneth Kaufman, Esq; Carl Settlemeyer, Esq; John Simson, Esq; Jim Griffin and others to-be-announced. Tickets are $35 for non members, $25 for WAMA/SAW members, $15 for Law Students (with ID), and free for GWU Law Students (with ID). More infomation is available by calling WAMA at 703-368-3300. Stay tuned for ticket information. WAMA members must submit their Wammie nominating ballots by Thursday, November 18.
